Mexican Rice and Spanish Rice are two totally different kinds of rice recipes from two different countries.
I’m Mexican so I’ll give you an authentic Mexican rice recipe. 









(Arroz Rojo/Sopa de Arroz)
Ingredients:
– 1 -2 cup Rice
(+2 cups water per each cup of rice)
– 2 Tomatoes, quartered
– 1/4 Onion
– 1 Garlic Clove
– 1-2 tbsp Chicken Bouillon
– 1/2 tsp Cumin (optional)
– Salt to taste
– Cooking Oil
For Extra Flavor:
– 1 tbsp Knorr Tomate (optional)
– Cilantro (optional)
– Jalapeño or Serrano (optional)
